This large wooden cross pendant reproduces Antonio Vedele's original design of the pectoral cross chosen by Pope Francis. It depicts Jesus the Good Shepherd leading his flock as he carries the lost sheep on his shoulders. With its simple and plain style, this Papal cross came to symbolize a new ecclesiastical era: "a poor Church, for the poor", as it's been termed by Pope Francis.
